The reel weighs 7. 7 ounces on my scale. Made in Germany. I believe this was machined from aluminum and then plated with hard coat for extra corrosion resistance and saltwater use. The frame is all black coated with the maker, model, and serial number "2028" etched in white. Anti reverse drag with porting on both sides of the frame and spool. The reel appears
