I had the various Orbs of Dragonkind in the deck, but eventually cut them for more Dragons, except for Jade Orb, since it gives hexproof to whatever Dragon you cast with its mana, helping to ensure its survival until your next turn

While a melded permanent is on the battlefield, it has only the characteristics of its combined back face

Now, 6 mana to cast and 6 for the ability is clunky as heck, so this certainly isnt a tutor that should slot into every Commander deck or anything like that
