I can understand why "Dark Magician of Chaos" was never used as a Fusion Material that could fuse with Timaeus (since its name does not contain "Black Magician", which is the original name for "Dark Magician"), but I always wondered why "Magician of Black Chaos" was not included in the condition of "The Eye of Timaeus", because, technically, it is a "Dark Magician", or rather, it's related to the archetype
