Antique Victorian Brown Boots by F. Mayer Boot and Shoe Co. state arkansas has a tiny (1/8”) meltedExtremely fine pair of boots, circa 1890s, with pointed toes and toe stitching. By the maker F. Mayer Boot and Shoe Co., a Milwaukee company founded in the 1880s. The factory, built in 1892 and known as "The Fortress," still stands today and opened a couple of years ago as a residential building.
